Pep Giuliano

Pep Giuliano is a powerhouse in UK pickleball-elite player, passionate coach, and East Midlands Director for Pickleball England. A former footballer turned tennis player, Pep discovered pickleball in 2020 and quickly rose through the ranks, earning silver at the 2023 English Nationals and repping Great Britain at the World Championships in Mumbai.

He’s the driving force behind the booming pickleball scene at David Lloyd Peterborough, where over 120 players now train under his guidance. As a certified IFP instructor, Pep brings real-world experience, infectious energy, and an approachable style to every coaching session.

Off the court, he runs Giuliano’s restaurant in Crowland-but his true passion is growing the game from the grassroots up. Whether he’s mentoring beginners or medalling on the world stage, Pep is all about making pickleball bigger, better, and more inclusive across the UK.

Scott Tift

Scott is a professional sports coach with 17 years’ experience and founder of Pickleball Complete Academy – a high-energy coaching community that has grown to more than 300 members since launching in September 2025.

His coaching philosophy is simple: people learn differently, so coaching should be personal. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, Scott focuses on how each player moves, what they naturally do well, and where the biggest quick wins are. Sessions are designed to enhance natural strengths while improving technique, decision-making and on-court confidence.

Alongside coaching, Scott is an active competitor, regularly medalling at 4.5+ level in the UK and internationally. He was also part of the team crowned the first English Club Champions in 2025, bringing performance-level insight into every session while maintaining an inclusive, supportive environment.

Scott is PbE qualified and plays an active role in developing the sport nationally as part of the Pickleball England Coach Education team and Director for Schools Development, helping grow participation and raise coaching standards across the country.

Whether players are stepping onto court for the first time or sharpening their competitive edge, Scott’s sessions are energetic, welcoming and purposeful – so every player leaves knowing exactly what they’re improving and why.

Domini now regularly medals in 5.0+ categories, including a recent podium finish at the Malaga Open 2026, alongside a number of other international tournament successes.

From the court to you
"The setup is hard to beat. Courts were 30 seconds from my apartment door, resort was class, and loads to do nearby if you wanted a break from the courts. Everything ran smooth from start to finish. Fair play to Bex for keeping it all ticking - huge undertaking with front of house, comms, being flexible and adding that personal touch. Will 100% be back for another one."
Peter
"Just recently back from my first pickleball break and as a novice player and I was really thrilled at how inclusive the coaching was. My confidence has improved massively and I have met such a wonderful group of people on this trip. Everything was first class from the coaching, the resort, the food and the beautiful weather. Would have no hesitation to recommend Pickleball Escapes to anyone who is considering a pickleball break in the future."

"I had the most wonderful time at my Pickleball Escape holiday last weekend in the New Forest. It sure didn't disappoint if not exceed my expectations. I finished the weekend feeling absolutely buzzing and excited to put everything we learned into practise in my next session."
